If you run into problems with the app, station data, or location access, start here.

If you are reporting a station correction from the website, you can also use Contact & Station Corrections.

Troubleshooting

  • If nearby results are empty, confirm location permission is enabled for DumpScout.
  • If the map opens in preview mode, tap the recenter button after location finishes loading.
  • If a station detail looks wrong, use the in-app issue report flow or the web correction form.
  • If a call, website, or navigation handoff fails, confirm another app on the device can open that action.

What reviewers should know

The app does not require login for core browsing and station lookup.

Location access is optional. If denied, the app still opens and supports manual browsing.

The main reviewer flow is: open app, allow or deny location, browse nearby stations, open a station detail, then optionally report an issue.

Data deletion requests

DumpScout does not require an account for core browsing. If you want us to delete a station issue report or support message you previously sent, email hello@dumpscout.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Include enough detail for us to find the record, such as the station name, approximate submission date, and the email address you used.
